I’ve spent years engaging customers and building enduring client relationships with relevant, effective, and creative communications as a freelance digital consultant and entrepreneur. Now, I’m determined to put my versatile expertise to work as a catalyst for change, driving improvements in public health outcomes. With a commitment to foundational knowledge, I recently graduated with a B.S. in Health & Human Services.
Professionally, I’ve brainstormed, strategized, designed, written content for, and executed the production of countless promotional graphics, e-mail campaigns, websites, presentations, social media posts, and merchandise designs. I clearly and confidently express both concrete and abstract ideas across mediums.
I’ve consistently made it a priority to do work that reflects my values, often creating such opportunities by designing and promoting products independently and working with charitable and political organizations to realize their goals.
As a student, I’ve examined how social, cultural, economic, and environmental factors affect both access to healthcare and outcomes. I’ve also studied and considered how to apply evidence-based practice to affect positive changes within individuals and across populations.
As a human, who, like many, has been challenged and changed by the Covid-19 pandemic, I’m ready to put my combined strengths, knowledge, and ethical standards to work in support of the science I most believe can change lives. I’m especially enthusiastic about improving health equity, health literacy, and health outcomes related to the social determinants of health and sharing the impact of a plant-based diet on human health, environmental health, and animal welfare through public health education, communications, and promotion.
